For today's English class we first took our vocab test then sis. Salma wrote on the board an assignment from the vocab book which is pgs.59-60 after that we took Spelling pre test #11 and worked on exercise #1. 5 minutes left to class and sis. Salma explained the exam on Great Expectation which is a timed write and to find a quote from each of Pip's expectation and to find a quote from each so you could use it for the test.

2-brainstorm comparison/contrast betwee their education and ability to suceed in the "real world"
First thing we did was a vocab review worksheet that is due tomarrow. Then, we got two characters from The Great Expectations. We have to do a venn diagram for both characters for their education. Then we took the reading quiz. For homework, do the venn diagram and study for your vocab test.

Today in English, we reviewd yesterday's assignment of the Alexie's essay question, and went in depth of it of how Alexie structured out his essay. Then as the bell rang sister salma explained tonights hmwk which is to create a graphic organizer and to be able to read the essay.
