2. Read Glick's "Geo Signs the big thaw" and answer questions on page 887
Today we started with a vocab test and after we finished did vocab book page 99 then read student analysis of "this Is the forest Primeval" A students refelction on a 1929 cartoon. Then began Future Life but did not finish.
For homework finish "Geo Signs" then answer questions page 887.
Then look at Ice Blankets pn pg 867 (photo above) and write analysis. Does nnot have to be too long. Example on page 892.
Also due NEXT Friday vocab page 99.

Today we started off with Lit terms oxymoron and parallelism then discussed our article critiques that refuted global warming. We then proceeded to our composition textbook and read It's easy being green together then began Counting Carbon but have to read the rest for homework and do questions 1-5.
Study for Vocab test.

2. Do article Critique on article that does not have to be 1000 words but should be on not agreeing with global Warming

Prompt for essay: Aftter having read the argument presented in the book, analyze how he is able to effectively present his points and persuade his audience to join his cause. Consider his use of aristotelian appeals. USe specific examples from his book to highlight his style and effectiveness.


Today Sr. Salma was not here and sr.Lysa substituted, first we took the speeling test since we might not hve class tommorow since we have Hajj carnival(maybe last period)then he began reading "AN Invonvenient Truth" for the remainder of the period. Vocab packets should be finished tomorrow and essay due thursdat, dont forget to start the book.Sister Salma said especially focus on the yellow pages.
