Friday was a very short day, we ttok ourusual spelling test, and continued reading emersons education, which unfortunetly we did not finish. We went over the Q's and D'S with eachother in class.For homework we have to do the article critique, and finish untill chapter 19 in Great expectations. Plus we have to do study guide questions

Today, we went right into our textbooks to Emerson's essay on Education we started before. We were reading and discussing about the ideas and feelings he had towards school. We did not finish it like we wanted. So, homework is to finish your vocab packet and to study for your spelling test. Also, read chapters 11-19 in Great Expectations and the study guide questions, which is due on Monday.

We first took our Vocab test than we had to do page 39-40 in our vocab book, then we took our pre-test.
We then review for PSAT by checking our PracticePSAT and going over the answers.

The first thing we did was our Lit terms. We took hyperbole, which means to over exagerate, imagery, which means using sensory details to explain sonething, and invective, which means to use negative language. Then, we had out chapters 1-10 quiz in Great Expectations. Reminder that your MYP brainstorm portfolio is due this Friday. also, make sure to finish your vocab sheet and to study for your vocab test.

Today we took our spelling test then we read Emerson s "Education" in the reading composition book. For homework we are assigned to do an article critique plues, chapters 1-10 and study guide of ourbook. There might be a very challenging quiz about the book on monday so actually read.
