On Friday we took our spelling test # 9, then we continued the reading lig entry about of feeling toward the essay we read. We were suppose to begin Alexie, but we didnt have time. For homework we are suppose to continue the chapters 32-45 of great expectations plus do the study guide questions. Then we are also suppose to do an article critique, for this week as well.

First, we went over the qusetions for Mori's "School". after we discissed them, the bell rang. For homework, finish your vocab packet and your definition essay for a abstract noun (typed, 250 words).

As the students copied down the agenda, sis. Salma began to read from the exert of Mori's "School" and finished the reading. Once done with that then we discussed the values or moral of the differences between the Japenese way of teaching and the America way. With no time left Sister Salma quickly discussed our essay which was done in class 2 weeks ago on choosing the abstract noun and type up a 250-300 word essay due friday. That's all it.

Tuesday's are the usual day of vocab test as the students completed with the test, sister salma gave the class a bit of time to work on our vocab skill page, not enough time so it's homework at home. Then finishing vocabulary we then began reading Mori's essay on education of school from the japenese view and the american view and what is considered better. And at home answer the questions. That's basically it for english.

2- GE chapters 32-41 and study sheet(due Mon)

First, we took our reading quiz for Great Expectations. Then after correcting it in class, we began reading Mori's "School" in our textbook. For homework, do your vocab study sheet for the vocab test tomorrow and start reading the next chapters for Great Expectations.
