Monday- Today we took Spelling Pre test #1 and did exercise 1 and highlighted all of the parts of speech and definitions.
HW: Do Exercise #2 in Vocabulary book

For Homework over the weekend we were assigned to do an article critique of an article of your choice and we shared one comment from each critique in class.

On the agenda it says Soaps:finish analysis
We did not have time to go over it, we were supposed to do a SOAPS Tone on our favorite essay(not assigned for HW)

We talked about John Dunne's "No Man Is An Island"
and for HW, we are assigned to do a dialectal journal for either "No Man is an Island" or "The Din in the Head"

A dialectal journal is a chart were we have to pick our favorite quotes from either essay and respond to them on the other side.
